Sports & Entertainment Hub

Site-mapping and Redesign

Role: Lead UX Designer

Software: Figma,

Project Overview: Although the Chase “Sports & Entertainment Hub” contains a wealth of information about credit card member perks and availability, the way that it was presented was not much more than an afterthought. This project was an exercise in research that would lead to a well thought out and finished design.

Sitemap of initial state

After creating a sitemap of the initial state of the site, it be came clear that the information was presented in a way that was disconnected, and could benefit from a reorganization that would function in a much more intuitive way.

Card-sorting and dendrogram

The first step was to do a card-sorting exercise, and organize a dendrogram to help inform us on how to construct our new sitemap.

Findings based sitemap

The new sitemap allows users to more easily find the content that they are looking for. Categories are grouped in a central hub where the user can find pages that contain detailed information for each card partnership or benefit.

A-B Prototype testing

After our design phase, we chose 2 designs to prototype and put through A-B testing.

Our findings showed that users preferred a simpler, less stimulating design layout when searching through organized information. Information about perks should be prioritized, and the use of dropdown menus for navigation.
